We are here to bring hope to our community.

We believe that God has called us to be an instrument of hope to our community - that is our vision. God has placed each of us here in this season to reach out to those around us and show them His love. We welcome you to walk this path with us!

  • New to Temple Terrace UMC?

Welcome! We can't wait to introduce you to our community and tell you about all the good things God is doing in our church family. No matter where you've come from and where you are on your spiritual journey, we want to come alongside you - to inspire, equip and encourage you to live out a life that will bring glory to God and be a blessing to the world.

  • Living in Community

Being an instrument of hope to our community starts with our family. "Living in Community" means walking side by side through the ups and downs of life. It's more than simply going to church on Sunday - it's knowing that you've got a family to share in your victories, and to pick you up when life knocks you down.  One of the best ways to get involved in our community is to attend our Discipleship Classes or small groups - this gives you a chance to get to know your church family better in a smaller, more personal environment.

  • Sunday Morning

Our Sunday morning worship services provide an opportunity to for all of us to honor God with our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service. This is not only a time of praise and worship, but it can also be a time of reflection as we hear God's word and learn to apply it in our daily lives. Because our community is diverse, we offer different types of worship to allow our family to hear the word in a setting that is meaningful for them. Our Traditional Worship Service begins in the sanctuary at 10am, and The Fellowship offers contemporary worship in the Fellowship Hall at 11am.

  • Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry is truly a highlight of what we offer at Temple Terrace UMC. We meet every child where they are and we teach them God's word in a loving environment. We offer Sunday School beginning at 10am on Sundays, with Children's Choir rehearsals starting at 11:15 on Sunday mornings. At Temple Terrace UMC, we recognize the importance of having a positive influence in the lives of our children as early as possible.  Our Preschool allows us to partner with children and their families to prepare them for their educational future with a loving, positive focus in a Christ-centered environment.

  • COMMUNITY NETWORK INFORMATION CENTER, INC. (CNIC)

CNIC is a non-profit corporation and operates exclusively for education and charitable purposes.  The purpose of this corporation is to improve the economic, education, and social condition of the residents of the Temple Terrace community and surrounding areas.  Their most recent project was TEEN TIME TALK, a workshop offered for young adults about the power of choices.

  • Donate to Temple Terrace UMC

We believe that financial giving is a way God has called us to worship Him. Some churches tend to be shy in asking for donations to keep ministry going. We believe in absolute transparency with our finances, understanding that people in the past tend to second guess where their money goes when they give it to a church. We believe that having you see our spending will encourage you to give more, and make more of an impact in this world for the gospel.
