Bring unwrapped items to worship and place in the CCA box in the worship center lobby on or before November 28 to be shipped in time for Christmas delivery.
Empty Closet
The Empty Closet operated on the church campus in cooperation with West Florida Foster Care Services is in need for all clothing items this season. Of special need is warm pants and tops for children during the winter months.
The closet accepts NEW and Nearly New items for distribution to foster families in our community.
Gift cards to discount clothing stores are also welcome, allowing closet volunteer staff to stock items as needs change.
Bring items and donations to worship through the end of the year and place in the Empty Closet collection box, or to the Empty Closet on Wednesdays between 10 am and 2 pm.
Palm Terrace Gifts & Party
The Giving Tree returns November 28 thru December 19 to benefit the residents at Palm Terrace.
Take one or more tags from the tree to purchase the specific gift requested by the resident. Gifts range between $15 and $20.
Wrap your gift and clearly label it with the resident's name. Return the wrapped gift(s) to the church lobby any Sunday on or before December 19.
Gifts will be distributed at the Palm Terrace Christmas Party on Monday, December 20 at 3 PM.
star gift
The Star Gift is an extra mile financial contribution to the ministries of TTUMC. This year we will use the funds to upgrade the furnishings and technology in Fellowship Hall and to make additional contributions to connectional giving (apportionments).
In addition to meeting our conference obligations, we are seeking to improve the guest experience in Fellowship Hall to expand its use for the community. Once upgraded, the hall will be a source of revenue for the church as well as an affordable and quality resource for the community. This not only improves church income but further establishes TTUMC as the center of the community.
