The Church-wide Advent study this year will be The Heart that Grew Three Sizes: Finding Faith in the Story of the Grinch.
Dr. Seuss wrote the beloved classic to express his concerns about the commercialization of Christmas. The book teaches us that Christmas isn't really about gifts and decorations, but about relationships. During these weeks of preparation, we can learn much from the Grinch's story about staying focused on our relationships with God and with others amid the distractions of the holiday season.
We kick-off on November 28, and continue for three weeks. Each Sunday's message and following groups will lead us deeper in discussions of our faith by engaging the topics:
When Everything is Wrong
When Christmas Isn't Christmas
When Light Shines
When Joy Is Our Song
Choose one of the groups below and sign up. Get ready to share an honest journey with others seeking to grow in faith this Advent. Maybe even three sizes!
