serving the community through outreach

The people who live in the surrounding community are very important to God and they are very important us. We believe we are here to serve them and share Jesus' love with them.  If you are interested in serving on one of our outreach projects please team contact Annie Bennett at bennettannie40@yahoo.com.


Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord.  And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’  The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  No other commandment is greater than these.”  (Mark 12:29-31)

Adopt A Street

Once a month our Outreach Team walks the streets for a few hours and picks up garbage. We believe that maintaining the beauty in our neighborhood will assist in creating a positive image in this area.

Walk and pray

Twice a month the outreach team walks and prays for the community.  While they walk they pass out flyers, invite people to church, and offer to pray for those who need prayer.
